Herzog & de Meuron's National Library of Israel Released

The National Library of Israel released images of the latest conceptual renderings of HdM's design.

The Swiss architect's library will be 6 stories with 4 stories of underground parking and storage. The design also features a large oculus to provide natural light into the reading space. Other programs include research, study, culture and education.

The building is due to start construction in 2016 for a completion date of 2019.
