The plot - a former orchard - is located in the second building series a village street. The building has heterogeneous visual relationship with the neighborhood and creates conscious and differentiated spatial references.
The rooms are oriented in different directions; this results in a balanced and varied exposure of the rooms. The courtyards are oriented in different directions and may change depending on time of day and used different during each season.
Despite the massive construction and the relatively high isolation to the built neighborhood, the building has large glass surfaces that create a transparent and bright atmosphere. The interiors are reductively formulated and uniformly spaced to create a feeling of roomi-ness.
